How to Manage No Activity Exception
No Activity Exceptions enable you to configure alerts that notify you when your deskless workforce deviates from their expected tasks. You can receive alerts when they fail to submit required reports, such as the Daily Activity Report, or neglect to scan designated checkpoints within specified time intervals.
Step 1.
You can navigate to the panel on the left side of the platform and click on the option "No Activity Exception" located below the Exception Dashboard.
Step 2.
After clicking on this option, all the reports configured with no activity exceptions will be displayed. Similar to other features on the platform, you can easily filter these reports using the following options:
- Report name: The title given to the report.
- Exception type: The specific exception that has been set.
- Account: The account associated with the report.
- Recurrence: The frequency at which this report is sent.
- Start and end time of the exception period.
- Email address to which this report is sent.
- Subject and status of the report.
Step 3.
Once you have this option, you can also edit each report by simply clicking on the blue button with the pencil icon. This allows you to configure the settings of each report with a “no activity exception.”
Step 4.
When you click on the "edit" button, the following screen will appear. Here, you can fill in all the necessary information regarding the report and configure the exception. Please provide the following details:
- Select the account.
- Field Activity Summary.
- Define the type of exception.
- Select the devices and the scan point that you want to be setting in this report.
- Define the scheduled recurrence and the days.
- Select the start/end date, start/end time.
- Set up the time zone.
- DST Enabled (yes/not).
- Also, you can provide the recipient's email address, any email addresses you wish to copy (CC), and specify the subject and body of the email you want to accompany the report.
Step 5.
Once you've filled in the necessary information, you can activate or deactivate this report and its changes by checking the corresponding checkbox according to your needs. Don't forget to click on "Submit" to save the changes.
