How to Add an Exception Scheduler
Step 1.
Navigate to this panel and go to the menu on the left side of your screen, then select the “Exception Scheduler” option.
Step 2.
After clicking on "Exception Scheduler", the following view is loaded, where you can see all the exception schedulers created. We must navigate to the right side and click on the "Options" button.
Step 3.
After clicking on "Options" a list of options is displayed, where we will click on "Add".
Step 4.
After clicking on the "Add" button, the following view will be displayed, where you must complete the following fields and options:
Note: All fields with an "*" are required; fields without are optional.
- Account*: In this dropdown, you must select the account in which the exception scheduler will be created.
- Exception Name*: In this field, you must enter the name of the exception scheduler.
- Frequency*: In this radio button, you must select one of the frequency options for the exception scheduler:
- 1 Hour(s)
- 6 Hour(s)
- 8 Hour(s)
- 12 Hour(s)
- 24 Hour(s)
- Start Time: In this field, you can add a start time for the exception scheduler; it must be added in 24-hour format.
- Report Type*: In this radio button, you must select the type of report you want between "Daily Report" and "Frequency Report.".
- All Scan Point(s): If we want this report to work for all scan points, we must mark the checkbox; if not, continue to the next field.
- Scan Point*: In this dropdown, all the scan points will be shown, and we can select more than one to be in the exception scheduler report.
- Time zone*: in this dropdown, you must select the time zone in which the exception scheduler will be executed.
- DST Enable: In this radio button, we can choose if we want it to be active or deactivated by checking "Yes" or "No", This field is for it to work in the summer.
- Report To*: In this field, you must enter the email where the Exception Scheduler report will arrive.
- Report Cc: In this field, you can add emails where copies of the exception scheduler report will be sent.
- Subject*: In this field, you must enter the subject of the email:
- Body*: In this field, you must place the email body.
- Start Date: By clicking on this field, a calendar will appear where we must select the date on which the exception scheduler report will start.
- End Date: By clicking on this field, a calendar will appear where you can add an end date for the exception scheduler report. If this field is empty, the report will continue to be sent until it is manually inactivated.
To save the exception scheduler report, you must click on the blue "Submit" button.
