How to Set Up MFA

• Have administrator permissions: You can view, edit, modify, and delete all portal user and configuration settings.

How to Set Up MFA

Step 1.

Once you are on the platform, navigate to the upper right side, and click on the username, a list of options will be displayed, select "Profile".

Step 2.

Once you're in the Profile section, navigate to the "Two-Factor Authentication" section and click on the "Enable" option. This additional layer of security will help safeguard your account from unauthorized access by requiring a second form of verification, typically a code sent to your mobile device or generated by an authenticator app, in addition to your password. By enabling two-factor authentication, you can ensure that your account remains secure and protected against potential threats.

Step 3.

Once you scan the QR code through the camera of your phone or using different apps like Google® Authenticator, Microsoft® Authenticator, or Authy, you can visualize a code to generate a 6-digit pin for every login. Once you complete the steps, please press “Add MFA Device.”.

Step 4. 

After entering the code, proceed by clicking on the "Add MFA Device" button. This action activates Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) within the portal, enhancing the security of your login authentication process.

Step 5.

After entering your portal credentials, the next step is to input the authentication code. This code acts as an additional layer of security, ensuring that only authorized users can access the portal. Once both your credentials and the authentication code are successfully entered, you'll gain access to the portal's features and functionalities. This two-step authentication process helps to safeguard sensitive data and secure your account from unauthorized access.
