Prerequisites.

How to Edit People
Step 1.
Navigate to this panel and go to the menu on the left side of your screen, then select the “People” option.
Step 2.
Once you click on the People panel header, you will find a series of boxes that you can use to filter and search for the person or people you want to edit.
Step 3.
Once you click in the header of the people panel, you will find a series of boxes that you can use to filter and search for the person or people you want to edit.
Each box allows you to filter by some specific information about people:
- First Name: to filter using first name.
- Last Name: to filter using the middle name.
- Email ID: to filter using email.
- Account: to filter using the account name.
- Device: to filter using the name of the device associated with the person.
- Tags: to filter using the tag assigned to the person.
- Phone Number: to filter using the phone number with the country code.
- Status: to filter by active or inactive people.
Step 4 .
Once you have found the person you want to edit, you must click on the edit icon.
Step 5 .
After clicking on the edit icon, the following view is loaded, where you can update the following fields.
Profile
- Select the organizational structure: In this field, you can change the organization selection.
- Name: In this field, you can change the first name.
- Last name: In this field, you can change the middle name.
- Email Address: In this field, you can add the email.
- Telephone number with county code: In this field, you can add the telephone number with the country code.
- Employee ID: In this field, you can add the employee ID.
- Company: In this field, you can add the name of the person's company.
- Site Contact: In this field, you can add the person's site contact.
- Note: In this field, you can add notes and observations for the person.
- Photo: In this field, you can add a photo of the person from your computer.
- Pay Rate: In this field, you can add the person's pay rate.
Then we must navigate to the blue button and click "Send".
Security
- Role: In this drop-down menu, you can select the role of the person.
- Note: It is optional before creating the people roles.
- Type (based on the target device): In this field, we can select from the following options:
- Mobile Devices: This option is only available if the person can enter through the mobile application.
- Web App: This option is only available if the person can enter from the Web application.
- Both: This option is so that the person can enter through the two previous options, mobile and web app.
- Device: In this field, you can update the person’s device.
Note: It is important to have the device registered.
- Secret Code: In this field, you can enter a secret login code.
- Favorite Color: In this field, you can add the person's favorite color.
- Birthday date: In this field, you can add the person's birthday date. Use the calendar that appears when you click on the option.
- Tags: In this field, we can add tags for the person.
Then we must navigate to the blue button and click "Submit.”.
Skill Certifications
- Skills: In this drop-down, you can select the skills that we will assign to the person.
Note: Skills must be configured previously. - Certifications: In this dropdown, you can select the certificates that we will assign to the person.
Note: Certificates must be configured previously. - We can also add the expiration date of the certificate.
If you want to add more than one certificate, you can click on the button with the "+" icon.
If you want to delete a certificate or the new certificate field, you can click on the button with the "-" icon. - File Attachments
Attachment Name: In this field, you can enter the name of the file to be uploaded associated with the person.
Browser: In this, you must select the file you want to upload from your computer.
If you want to add more than one file, you can click on the button with the "+" icon.
If you want to delete a file or the new file field, you can click on the button with the "-" icon.
Then we must navigate to the blue button and click "Submit”.
Hourly Pay
- Select position: In this field, you can add and select the person's position.
- Pay Rate: In this field, you can add the person's pay rate.
- Over time: In this field, you can add the person's payment time.
Note: If you want to add more hourly payments for the person, you can click the button with the "+" icon.
Then we must navigate to the blue button and click "Submit.”.
Custom Fields
In this section, you can create custom fields for the person, relevant data, or more information.
- Field name: In this field, you can create a custom name for this field.
- Value: In this field, you must enter the value or data corresponding to the name field.
Note: If you want to add more custom fields for the person, you can click on the button with the "+" icon. If you want to delete a custom field, you must click on the button with the "-" icon.
Then we must navigate to the blue button and click "Submit.”.
Settings
- Preferred Communication Method: On this radio button, you can choose from the following options:
None: In this case, no action will be taken.
Email: In this option, all notifications will only be via email.
Push: In this option, all notifications will be sent only as a push message on the mobile device.
Email/Push: In this option, all notifications are sent as a push message on the mobile device and via email. - Enable time and scheduling: To activate this option, you must click on the checkbox to enable the user to schedule.
To activate this user, you must click on the "Activate" checkbox.
Then we must navigate to the blue button and click “Submit” to Update the person's information.
