How to Create a New Notification

Prerequisites. 

• Have administrator permissions: You can view, edit, modify, and delete all portal user and configuration settings.

How to Create a New Notification

Step 1.

Navigate to this panel and go to the menu on the left side of your screen, then select the “Notifications” option. 

 

Step 2.

Once you click, the following view will be displayed with all the notifications created, as you can see in the image below. This view will show all notifications related to the account.

Step 3.

After clicking on "Notifications,” navigate to the upper right side and click on the "Options" button. A list of options will be displayed, and you must click on "Add.".

Step 4

After clicking on "Add" the following form is loaded to create the notification, where we must fill out the following data:

• Choose Account*: In this field, you must select the account to which you want to send the notification.
• Note: If you only have one assigned account, one will appear, but if you have more than one, a list will appear.
• Personnel(s): In this dropdown, you can select one or more people whom you want the notification to reach.
• Select all Personnel: If you want, you can click on the checkbox to activate this option, where the notification will be sent to all the people within the account.
• Device(s): In this dropdown, you can select one or more devices to which you want the notification to reach.
• Select all devices: If you want, you can click on the checkbox to activate this option, and the notification will reach all the devices within the account.
• Notification Text: In this field, you must write the message that will be sent in the notification to the people or devices on the account, taking into account that it must have a maximum of 100 characters.

To send the notification, we will navigate to the blue button and click on "Publish Notification".
