How to Export Devices from the Portal
Step 1.
Navigate to this panel and go to the menu on the left side of your screen, then select the “Device” option.
Step 2.
The “Device” view will be shown with the list of devices. The first thing to do is to select the site where the devices are by clicking the button in the middle of the top screen with the name of the organization, then locate the desired account and click on the circle before the account. That way, the account will be selected, and to close the account selection, just press the “select” button to the bottom right of the window.
Step 3.
To export the devices, go to the top right corner of the view and press the “Options” button, then the “Export” button.
An Excel file will be downloaded to the Downloads folder of the device.
Step 4.
Now, open the file, and there should be listed all the devices of the account or accounts depending on how the export was done. The devices are listed in rows, which means that each column contains information about the device in that row. Each device has the following information:
- S.No: Number of the record
- Account (Pin): The account name and pin in parentheses indicate where the device belongs.
- Device ID: Unique identifier of the device.
- Device Name: The name of the device.
- Device Type: The type of device.
- Device Brand: The brand name of the device, which can be an iPhone or Android.
- Tags: The tags associated with the device; if the device has more than one, it will be shown with a comma separated.
- Description: The description of the device.
- Phone Number: Phone Number of the device.
- Email ID: An email address.
- Personnel: The personnel assigned to the device in the account; if there is more than one, it will be shown with a comma separated.
