Prerequisites.
- Have administrator permissions: You can view, edit, modify, and delete all portal user and configuration settings.
- Have editor permissions: Can adjust configurate settings and see approvals; they cannot delete data or invite portal users.

How to Edit Scan Points
Step 1.
Navigate to this panel and go to the menu on the left side of your screen, then select the “Scan Point Management” option.
Step 2.
Once you click, in the header of the Scan Points panel, you will find a series of boxes that you can use to filter and find the Scan Point(s) you want to edit.
Each box allows you to filter by certain information specific to the scan point:
- QRCode ID: It can be filtered by the QR ID. Example "Location001"
- Scan Point Name: In this you can filter by the name of the scan point.
- Account (Pin): You can filter by account or pin, this is necessary if you manage more than one site within your account.
- Organization: In this field we can filter by organization.
- Description: In this field we can filter by the complete description of the scan point or by a fragment of the text.
- Time Interval: In this field we can filter by hour and minute. Example "01:00".
- Status: In this we can filter if the scan point is activated or inactive.
Step 3.
After clicking on "Scan Point Management”, the following view will be loaded, where all the scan points are shown. You must click on the "Edit Icon” in the last column, on the row of the scan point you want to edit.
Step 4.
After clicking on the “Edit Icon”, the following view will be loaded: This view will allow you to see all the information about the scan point, and you will be able to modify all the fields in this report.
- Account*: In this dropbox, we can select the account to which we are going to add the scan point.
Note: If the user has only one account, only this one will appear, but if the user has more than one account, a list will be displayed.
- QRCode ID*: In this field, we must enter the name of the scanning point.
Note: The name must be the same as the generated QR example 1 "Location001" example 2 "Location022".
- Scan Point Name: In this field, we must enter the name of the scan point; this can be any name, for example, "First Floor".
- Description: Here we can describe an example of the scan point, "This scan point must be performed after the round."
- Time Interval: This field must be filled with hours and minutes; this time is for a scan control, for example, "if the code needs to be scanned every hour".
- Tags: In this field, we can select the tags created for scan point or normal; these are used to segment the searches.
- Associate this scan point with: We cannot associate a scan point with anything, but we can associate it with a form. By selecting the “A form” radio button, the list of created forms will be displayed. We can also select the “A task” radio button, and the list will be displayed. created a task list.
Note: Any option selected will work as follows: when you scan the QR you will be redirected to the form or task.
For the scan point to be "Activate", you must click on the checkbox.
To finish the update, you must click on the blue “Submit” button.
