The QR Codes we have shipped to you, you will name and then place around your respective property or facility. QR Codes are also referred to as 'scan points', 'checkpoints', and other terms.
Naming Scan Points individually in the Mobohubb portal
- Login to the portal with your account username and password provided to you in your "Welcome to Mobohubb" email
- Scroll down to 'Configuration' on the lower left side and click on ’Scan Point Management’
- Click the blue ‘Edit’ box at the end of the Location row you want to name
- Enter the"Scan Point Name" that will correspond with the location you place the QR Code - i.e. West Main Gate, Front Entrance of Building 72, etc.
- Then Click ‘Submit’
*NOTE: When you receive your QR Codes in the mail, you will see a set of numbers at the bottom of the QR Code. The last three numbers after the "-" should match the three numbers at the end of the Location# in the QRCode ID column. For example, if on the Scan Point excel sheet you completed or if in the portal, you entered "West Main Lobby" as the Scan Point Name for Location025, then QR Code location-025 should be placed at the West Main Lobby.
Naming Scan Points on excel spreadsheet & Bulk Import of Scan Points or Scan Point Names
To begin you will open the Scan Point excel spreadsheet you received in your new account 'Welcome to Mobohubb' email. Under column C, highlighted in yellow, you will enter the Scan Point Name that will correspond with the location you place the QR Code. *Note: The last three numbers after the "-" on the QR Code should match the three numbers at the end of the Location# in the QRCode ID column. For example, if you entered "West Main Lobby" as the Scan Point Name for Location025, then QR Code location-025 should be placed at the West Main Lobby.
To bulk import your QR code scan point names, simply follow these instructions:
- Login to the portal with your account username and password provided to you in your 'Welcome to Mobohubb' email
- Scroll down to 'Configuration' on the lower left side and click on ’Scan Point Management’
- In the upper right corner, click the settings icon, which resembles a small gear. A drop-down box will appear, and you will click ‘Import’
- Choose the Scan Point excel file you saved with the completed scan point names, then select "Import File."
- That's it!
